Grippity is a seven-inch tablet with a dual-sided semi-transparent and multi-touch display that lets users type on both sides of the gadget.

With Grippity, users can hold up their gadgets from any position they’re comfortable in and use all ten fingers to type at once, while keeping their palms at a neutral ergonomic posture. Although the gadget has a display resolution that is relatively low compared to today’s standards, the gadget allows users to touch the back of small menu items and buttons because of its dual-sided feature.

The device runs on Android 4.2, has front-sided and back-sided capacitative multi-touch panels, a quad core processor, IR transmitter, an SD card slot, 8GB of internal memory, a Li-ion battery, and WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities.

Grippity is currently raising funds on Kickstarter and backers can get their own Grippity for as low as $159, the limited-time early-bird special.

Check out the Kickstarter video below for more about the project.
