If you’ve ever dreamt of driving a Tesla Model S, but haven’t quite amassed the funds, you will definitely be excited to hear about Palo Alto-based Vukee Car. The car sharing company will be the first to offer Tesla’s highly coveted luxury model when they go live later this year.

The company will officially launch in April, but if you are really keen to get behind the wheel of a Tesla, then you can pre-register now to make sure you are one of the first in line. Vukee Car also gives you the option to drive several other Tesla Model S sedans, which should have you spoilt for choice..

Unlike other car sharing services that require a membership fee, Vukee Car has no costs other than the hourly rate to rent its vehicles. Not all of the pricing details have been released yet, so there could be other associated costs, but according to information available online, an hour of driving will cost you around $39.

Vukee Car also plans to launch a fund raising campaign in February, which could earn you a free hour of driving when you show your support. There is also the option on the company’s landing page to register interest for your city, which would imply they plan to make Teslas available all around the country.
