Calendars may not be the best use of paper, but their role as a free gift and simple promotional tool are undeniable. As part of their desire to become the world’s most ecologically sustainable car manufacturer, Volkswagen has create an eco-friendly version that is also compatible with your iPhone.

Dubbed the “world’s most eco-friendly calendar,” the calendar is not actually a calendar, it’s an iPhone stand that makes it easy to keep sight of your iCalender. Made from 99.9% recycled material and entirely carbon-offset, the iPhone holder is a smarter alternative in an age when we organize our lives digitally.

The calendar falls under the company’s Think Blue initiative, and was created by Memac Ogilvy
