Catnip-Scented Flyers Turn Felines Into Mailmen [Video]

Rethink Canada's launched an out-of-the-box marketing campaign to target furry creatures.

Ad agency Rethink Canada knows your cats can’t resist the delicious scent of catnip, so that is why they designed a direct mail flyer that’s covered with catnip concentrate.

To promote Bulk Cat Litter Warehouse, the agency was able to get the flyer directly into the hands of their target audience, all thanks to their furry felines.

From the video below, you can see that the cat of the house is immediately drawn to the pile of “junk mail,” snatching up the flyer and fondling every inch of it. With such a direct way of marketing, it is hard for the owner not to take notice of the brand.

Proving that there are other ways to boost a company’s image, Rethink Canada has done a spectacular job in turning a negligible flyer into attention-grabbing material.
