Hula is a social networking platform that helps users find STD testing centers, get their test results online, and then share their verified STD statuses on their dating profiles or other social media sites.

The app is mainly a free way to search testing centers, receive results online, save them for their personal records, or share them. Hula provides a list of testing clinics and doctors to users. After getting tested, the user can sign up for a Hula account with their personal information and information about where they were tested. The user’s health provider transmits the user’s personal health record into their secure Hula account.

According to its website, the mission of the app is to provide people with access to information that can help them make informed decisions about their sexual health. The app also aims to destigmatize conversations about STDs and HIV.
