Comme des Organismes, created by Berlin-based CGI studio Zeitguised, is a reimagination of the Spring 2014 women’s collection of Japanese label Comme des Garçons by Rei Kawakubo.

The digital work of art reinterprets the initial concepts of the unique pieces from the fashion collection as autonomous life forms. According to the project description, Comme des Organismes is an interpretation of what the pieces would have looked like if they had not been created into clothes but “spontaneously realized themselves as autonomous life forms.”

The digital artwork is essentially a motion triptych or a three-paneled animation showing the imagined life forms coming to life and moving like abstract organisms.

The digital art piece features animation by Derya Ötztürk and sound by Michael Fakesch.

The original HD artwork is sold exclusively as a limited edition at SeditionArt.
