The GiBike is a smart and light folding bicycle created for city lovers. It has smartphone integration with GPS and a USB port so it can provide directions, connect to social networks, and even charge the rider’s phone.

The GiBike has a number of safety features including an integrated anti-theft lock and smart rear and frontal wheel LEDs that increase visibility in the dark. Only the owner and the people they choose can drive the GiBike, and the lock turns on when you walk 10 feet away from it.

It runs over forty miles on LiFoPo4 battery without recharging. The bike is fast folding too, in just one motion that takes a mere three seconds. Currently at the prototype stage, the GiBike will soon be launched on Kickstarter and you can sign up on the website to receive updates.
