Boring subjects made interesting thanks to creative illustration.

Trying to explain a concept like online advertising to children is no easy task, especially as it isn’t the most gripping subject matter. With a little help from illustrator Dominic Owen and animator Will Samuel, the UK’s Internet Advertising Bureau has managed to come up with a way for kids to learn about the treacherous world of online ads.

The two and a half minute animation includes pictures of cats, skateboarding, and a game called Willy the Walrus, all of which do wonders to turn an otherwise uninteresting subject into something bearable. There’s probably been a few adults who have found the video useful as well, just because it doesn’t try to overcomplicate the message.
