Kokopelli Backpackers Hostel created an edible card with a coca leaf.

To encourage travelers to visit Kokopelli Backpackers‘ new hostel in Cuzco, Peru, they have created an anti-altitude sickness business card made out of coca leaf.

As the new location is located over 11,000 feet above sea level, this inspired the hostel to try to alleviate the symptoms of altitude sickness for those backpackers who made their way up to Cuzco.

The business card features a leaf-shape perforation, which can easily be pushed out. The card instructs travelers to fold the leaf, place it in their mouth and chew to relieve their symptoms. It also lists the contact details for the hostel so they can find their way there or get in touch.
