Milan Design Week projects explore declarations and reinstatements of musical soundscape.

With the theme, Instruments: Reimaging the music room, students on the Master of Interior Architecture & Retail Design course from the Piet Zwart Institute presented a series of projects that explored declarations and reinstatements of music within the domestic soundscape.

With a range from audible to inaudible but experienced sounds, the projects developed from the foundation of research into grouped classifications of certain musical instruments and their contemporary interpretations into the individual and his domestic environment.
