Everyone loves a scrambled egg, but producing them can be a bit of a hassle. You have to carefully crack the egg into a bowl, avoiding getting any broken shells pieces in, then use a whisk or fork to hand scramble the eggs, before pouring them into a pan which you then have to move with a spatchula. Wouldn’t it be easier if we could place an egg into a low-tech kitchen gadget that would quickly and efficiently scrambles our eggs- while they’re still in their shells? The creation of the ‘Golden Goose’ gives us the perfect egg, without the hassle.

The ‘Golden Goose’ is a hand powered tool that rapidly shakes an egg back and forth, mixing the yolk and white together to produce a fully intact, golden colored egg. People can crack the shell as easily as if it were a hard boiled egg, getting the goods in 15 seconds. This not only lessens the mess, it leaves your hands free to cook bacon, toast, or whatever other breakfast items you may be interested in having.

It can be used from any angle and is dishwasher safe. In addition, any sized egg can be used in the device. Besides scrambled eggs, the ‘Golden Goose’ can also make soft boiled or hard boiled eggs. It is currently running a Kickstarter campaign, but has already surpassed it’s $34,500 goal. Pre-orders cost $24, and can be continued up until May 15th, when the campaign ends. The ‘Golden Goose’ will be shipped in October.
