Cell phones with unlimited data and internationals calls in every room.

Complimentary chocolates are one thing, but a smartphone you can use for the duration of your stay is something else. Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong recently made smartphones available in all 381 of their rooms, which includes unlimited data and tethering, useful travel apps, and calls to Hong Kong, the US, UK, Australia, China and Singapore – all for free.

The phone itself is an Alcatel Idol X, and comes pre-loaded with travel applications, as well as Facebook, Instagram, and Skype. To add more, all you have to do is enter your own Google login details, which gives you full control of the phone. Apart from apps, there are also emergency numbers, transportation options, sponsored listings, and select discounts available for you to use.
