Eco-friendly material makes its way into the sneaker business.

Nike has just released a new customizable design as part of the NIKEiD Air Force 1 series- using cork as the primary material. Customers can choose from either dark or light colored cork and can use the material on most parts of the shoe, maintaining the option to integrate leather if they want. The sneakers also have the option of adding color for laces, stitching, soles, and Nike swoosh. Available colors include Black, White, Red, Navy, Pink, Yellow, and more. Sneakers start at $190, and are offered for a limited time. Customize your own pair here. [h/t] The Drinks Business
