Cabin Drop XL is a new eco-friendly portable pod hotel that lets people enjoy the great outdoors without having to get their hands dirty. Designed by Barcelona-based studio In-tenta, the prefab structure is made from wood, glass, and steel, to create a luxurious environment which has virtually no impact on it’s surroundings.

The 325 square foot hotel room features bubbles windows on both ends, while a thin skylight allows natural light inside, and offers views of the trees above. Drop XL can also be pulled apart and fitted with customizable add-ons, which makes it easy for eco-tourism companies to tailor the structure for each individual guest.

To make it more flexible, adjustable steel legs are fitted to the pod hotel so that it can be placed almost anywhere, whether that’s on top of a mountain, or in the depths of a forest. The structure would also be fabricated offsite, which makes it easy to transport almost anywhere, while also reducing the amount of environmental impact from building and waste materials in the desired location.
