How Duct Tape Is Creating Safer Crosswalks In Dallas [Video]
Better Block is reviving rundown areas and bringing communities together.
Intersections can be dangerous places, but it doesn’t cost as much as you think to make them safer. The Better Block project is an initiative that aims to create more community spaces in places that are lacking, and they recently celebrated their 4th anniversary in Dallas, Texas where it all started. With only $2,000 dollars and some duct tape, they turned a regular street into a hive of activity with food, games, green spaces, and other attractions for everyone to enjoy.
