Who’s the greatest wordsmith of all time? A question that causes excitement, passion, and controversy. It’s a question that usually has some consistent answers, famous writers, philosophers, theologians, and yes, even rappers. Matt Daniels, a New York based data scientist at Undercurrent, decided to compile a data analysis that compares the vocabulary of today’s famous hip-hop artists to Shakespeare, and discovered that quite a few artists surpass Shakespeare’s number of unique words.
