Architectural food-smiths combine new ice cream flavors with toothpaste.

Toothpaste brand Colgate recently teamed up with culinary research, architectural installation and contemporary food design company Bompas & Parr to invent some interesting ice cream flavors.

The ‘tooth-testing' event had participants create crazy ice creams using liquid nitrogen and unique ingredients like chili peppers, hot sauces, vinegar and violet syrup.

The goal was to create concoctions that induced tooth sensitivity using catalysts like heat, cold, sweetness and acidity. Then Colgate's Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpastes were put to the test.
