Mary Egan's startup Gathered Table does the hard work of coordinating everyone's schedules.

Hectic schedules, strict budgets and fussy eaters are the norm of family life and having to plan meals on top of this to satisfy the whole family can be stressful to say the least.

Mary Egan aims to combat this everyday problem with her new startup Gathered Table. The idea is to create a menu of weekly meals specifically tailored to a family's likes and dislikes.

The service costs $10 to $12.50 per month and enables family members to clip their favorite recipes and set preferences such as how many days per week they’d prefer to cook, and how much time they can commit, and whether they have any special dietary requirements. Menus are generated based on these collective inputs. They can be customized to preferred rotation frequency, dietary profiles, food avoidances and seasonality.
