LEGO creations come in all shapes and sizes, which includes highlights such as a Super Mario Brothers Aquarium, Banksy Street Art Recreations, and even TV Commercials Filmed Entirely With LEGO. The latest addition comes from Master LEGO builder Matt De Lanoy, who decided to recreate the town of Springfield from The Simpsons with painstaking attention to detail. Keep going to see places like the Kwik-E-Mart, Moe’s Tavern, and even the nuclear power plant where Homer works.

While the Danish building brick company already launched an official kit earlier this year, it;s pretty clear that De Lanoy has blown that one out of the water. His version of Springfield includes the Simpsons and Flanders households, the Nuclear Power Plant, Kwik-e-Mart, Krusty Burger, the Android’s Dungeon comic shop, and even the elusive Stonecutter’s Club – no detail was spared.

Some of the buildings even include some internal detailing. One scene shows Homer sat at his control station in the nuclear power plant, where a man in a radiation suit is shocked to find a puddle of radioactive goo on the floor. There are plenty of other animated scenes as well; such as Marge shouting from the front step of her house, and Maggie playing in the public park.

De Lanoy has plenty of amazing LEGO creations available to see on his Flickr page, but those that recreate an entire world are by far the most impressive. In the past, he also brought the world of Futurama to life with LEGO, which didn’t skimp on any of the essentials either.
