The DAQRI Smart Helmet offers a hands-free wearable HD display beneath a protective visor

Los Angeles-based startup DAQRI has developed a Smart Helmet for industrial workers. The Android-powered hardhat features a protective visor over a heads-up display and an array of sensors, so workers can safely map their environment and monitor metrics.

The DAQRI Smart Helmet has a hands-free wearable HD display with fully transparent optics that provide always-on functionality readable in both low light and bright conditions. It is described as “an elegant fusion of the most sophisticated display and sensor hardware with next-generation computer vision.”
