It's no surprise that Google's eyewear is trying to break into the luxury fashion market and they seem to be getting plenty of winks in the process

Many critics share one opinion on the Google Glass and that is it is too expensive and miles away from reaching its full potential (a.k.a. not a good buy for someone without the few thousands dollar lying around.) As a response, Google is trying to penetrate the fashion-conscious market, a group more than willing to spend on a $20,000 Hermes handbag.

Google Glass have previously tapped the legendary designer Diane von Furstenberg of the American luxury apparel and accessories brand DVF. The 68-year-old designer is a former princess and holds the presidency at the Council of Fashion Designers of America, likely to be the most influential fashion organization in the world.
