Photo series by Henry Hargreaves conveys our fast-food approach to technology
High-tech gadgets and fast-food may seem like they have little in common, but photographer Henry Hargreaves brought the two together in a shoot titled Deep-fried Gadgets.
Drenching gadgets – mostly Apple products from computers to tablets to iPods – in a batter and then deep-frying them, Hargreaves hoped to create a visual story about the way we treat technology. Like fast food that we occasionally scarf down without thinking about it, we have a similarly thoughtless approach to technology, once it is slightly outdated. He explains on his site:
