Eyewear offers step-by-step instructional lessons for novice chefs

For a novice cook, searching the internet for a recipe and preparing dinner can feel more like a chore than a pleasure. Take out and meal-delivery services have become increasingly mainstream, offering weekday evening solutions to dine on demand for those whose cooking capabilities comes with strenuous time and effort.

Food supply company Gressingham Duck has partnered with creative agency Knit to teach those with intermediate food knowledge how to cook. An ingenious cook along app operates in conjunction with Google Glass and lets users view and follow step-by-step recipe instructions. With voice controls and gesture activations, users can search the extensive collection of recipes from Duck’s archives and prompt a guided cooking lesson.
