A project to portray science better in film has evolved into an annual festival, with the venue being Google's Chelsea hub yet again and this year's theme being 'Time'

It might seem strange to make “Time” the theme of a film festival. In a way, every film or video of any kind is about time. That’s what film did: it took photos and put them into a series so that they could depict time. But this is also a festival about science. When scientists think about time, it gets considerably heavier. Many films play fast and loose with time and the science of time, but this group was curated to head in the opposite direction: looking for films that reveal something illuminating about our movement from one moment to the next.
