The latest project from artist Jonathon Keats aims to certify approximately 100 billion bacteria in fields like management, finance and product development

Founded by conceptual artist, writer, experimental philosopher, and “poet of ideas” Jonathon Keats, Microbial Associates is a corporate consultancy that aims to build and promote successful relationships between people and prokaryotes by offering comprehensive executive training to bacteria.

In reality, Microbial Associates is Keats' latest tech-art project and is something of a commentary on how the culture of corporations are becoming less and less diverse – their employees resemble each other and have the same educational qualifications and experience. Companies compete for the same types of candidates and fight to stand out. Keats' project proposes to help industries break their monoculture by creating biodiversity.
