It’s no secret that the freshest fruits and vegetables contain the highest nutritional value. This fact compromises “traditional” produce delivery in two ways. Crops are often harvested before becoming fully ripe to allow more time for transport, and purchased foods sit in fridges and on countertops before being eaten, losing nutrients with each passing day.
