NYC Tourism Posters Encourage Inter-Borough Exploration
'See Your City' campaign aims to bring locals outside their boroughs
The Big Apple is a worldwide tourist destination, but for locals, it’s all too easy to get tied up in your own borough and neglect the others. NYC tourism organization NYC & Company is working to change that with the “See Your City” campaign, an initiative that encourages New Yorkers to go beyond their own neighborhoods. To entice inter-borough travel, colorful posters advertise major landmarks in different boroughs, such as the city skyline from DUMBO, the Apollo Theater in Harlem and the international culinary delights in Jackson Heights.
