Scent personalization service helps customers switch out fragrances on a monthly basis

According to research by NPD, 60% of female perfume users switch between different scent brands. Harnessing this insight, Scentbird is a fragrance subscription service that recommends a scent from some 350+ designer perfumes on a monthly basis for $15.

Similar to other subscription services, it is participating in an important retail trend that is enabling numerous categories of products to be sold in this innovative manner. We interviewed Scentbird’s Co-Founder and CMO Rachel ten Brink and asked her to highlight some of the problems that Scentbird is solving for.
