A line of food cans aims to create memorable dining experiences and open consumers up to a world of alternative food sources

In Western culture, insects have no place in the food guide pyramid. But it’s not so much the taste that makes people cringe at the thought of bugs as food, but rather the cultural context in which we operate. To shift our perception of bugs from one of disgust to one of delicatessen (much like the beloved escargot), Sexyfood is integrating high design into a new packaging concept.

The line of insect containers, developed by Atelier Design, creates a luxurious aesthetic with the intention of both selling insects and creating a unique experience.
