Adidas Leverages Athletic Star Power in Winter Sports Campaign
A partnership with Stopp for the apparel brand's new ClimaHeat line capitalizes on the old and the new in advertising
It’s hard to judge which is more famous: Adidas or David Beckham, but both were on display in one of Adidas’ ad spots for their ClimaCool line. As ClimaHeat, the winter sports version of this technology and initiative, goes live Adidas has brought in extreme winter sports celebrities in a similar initiative.
ClimaHeat, part of their Adidas Outdoor collection, which incorporates advanced insulating fabrics in shoes, underwear and outerwear to keep athletes warm in the coldest conditions. Their social media slogan — #openallwinter — encapsulates the key message for the campaign and the key benefit of the new product line.
