AeroMobil Perfects Flying Car Prototype
The Slovakian company soars to the front of the engineering race with its sleek model
Last week, visitors to the historic Hofburg Palace witnessed a very futuristic premiere: an aeronautics firm revealed an innovative prototype capable of both driving and flight, and which is as graceful and pretty as heck, too.
On Oct. 29, Slovakian firm AeroMobil unveiled the newest version of its plane-car hybrid, the AeroMobil 3.0, at the Vienna Pioneers Festival. During the two-day entrepreneurship and digital technology conference, AeroMobil co-founders Stefan Klein and Juraj Vaculik stated that the almost market-ready prototype — which can cover up to 430 miles by air or 540 miles by land per tank of gas — stands to “change personal transport on a global scale.”
