The photography brand's PIXPRO SP360 aims to give GoPro a run for its money

A few years ago, we thought Kodak was done for, with its well-publicized bankruptcy and the selling off of thousands of its patents. But despite the company’s present focus on professional services, it’s still eager to make waves in the personal camera market, one that all too often seems to be eclipsed by smartphones. In a “global partnership” with JK Imaging, once a virtually unknown startup, Kodak has welcomed several unusual photography devices into its family – including the latest, the PIXPRO SP360, which promises to give the ubiquitous GoPro a run for its money with a tough, portable high-resolution 360º camera.
