The experience at the tech giant's stores in March has just won a Digital Screenmedia Association Award

Microsoft and Synect recently won a Digital Screenmedia Association Award for the Titanfall video wall experience at the former's stores, which debuted in March to promote the game's launch in an interactive and immersive way. Titanfall was released at Microsoft stores with a series of midnight launches. Over ten minutes of original digital content was created and fans were able to play the game in interactive zones on the massive video walls.

Ultra-high definition video of Titans falling from the sky, missiles soaring across futuristic skylines, and full action sequences mirrored Titanfall gameplay on the 150-foot video wall. A dynamic countdown was also displayed on the wall for weeks before the March release, in order to build fans' excitement. The stores were completely Titanfall-themed to give gamers an amazing in-store experience and during the launch, they could buy the game bundled with other Microsoft products and services.
