This new initiative launches in time for this week's elections and forces the conversation our country keeps refusing to have

A pair of public service videos released by the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence has been released this in time to raise awareness of this wedge issue in time to influence voting in the midterm elections. Each video references a recent gun violence catastrophe to illustrate that our choice of lawmaker is directly linked to the disasters.

The first film shows an older man at a restaurant reading a newspaper article about The Dark Knight Rises premiere shootings in Aurora, CO in 2012. The second depicts young adults reading about the 2007 Virginia Tech shooting on smartphones. In both videos, the establishing scene is followed by blood dripping onto the media and a voiceover:
