Electronics designer and manufacturer builds strong ties in film community via Ultra HD sets

Looking for ways to stay on top of its game, electronics designer and manufacturer Sharp is taking an interesting approach to the marketing and development of its Aquos 4K Ultra HD televisions. It is collaborating with the most discriminating tastes – filmmakers and other companies at the forefront of video and sound technologies.

Just recently, the Sharp Art of Amazing campaign concluded its 2nd annual 4K Film Competition where Sharp asked filmmakers to submit short films that take advantage of some of the best camera technologies out there. Select finalists were chosen to be part of a special screening at the Mill Valley Film Festival in California. For many of these filmmakers it was the first time their films were shown in front of a live audience.
