Is Nike Working to Re-Establish Itself in the World of Wearable Tech?
Despite the discontinuation of FuelBand, a new patent from Nike provides clue into their role in the future of sportswear
Watching the patents being secured by the world’s leading companies can provide critical clues into our future. Earlier this year, we learned that sports apparel brand Adidas was working with Italian soccer team AC Milan through TechFit Elite, a sleeveless shirt that monitors vital stats. Their collaboration was highlighted as part of a short documentary that highlighted various directions in the future of textiles.
