Extract your own fresh cooking oils with this mad scientist-looking device

Have you ever been mystified by how the fragrant oils we use for cooking get extracted from crunchy and delicious seeds? Few people bother to look at the process, but a new kitchen contraption designed by Jyh-Zern Shen, Yu-Hsin Wu, Po-Chun Chiu (graduates of the National Cheng Kung University's Department of Industrial Design) makes it look as soothing, regular and exploratory a task as making coffee. The Daily Expeller is able to turn 100g ingredients into 20cc of oil with just the kinetic power created by turning a crank on the side and some boiling water added to the bottom.
