In-Built Car-Sharing & Self-Parking At 2015 Detroit Auto Show
New generation performance cars from Ford, Chevy and Accura stole the spotlight at this year's NAIAS
Early January means a return to Detroit for the annual auto show. With two press days, there’s always an overwhelming amount of new concepts and production cars to take in. Here’s a quick look at a few of the standout introductions from the first media day at the Detroit Auto Show.
Chevy Bolt Concept
GM debuted a compact EV concept which aims to extend the ‘Volt’ line. The Chevy Bolt is a four-door hatchback which clearly looks to be a more cost-conscious alternative to the BMW i3. The Bolt includes a few cool tech features like key replacement with smartphone access, an integrated ride-sharing management program (look out Car2Go), and an auto-park system with automatic vehicle retrieval through smartphone app access.
