While there are innumerable perks of cycling, theft is also a prevalent consequence of riding in a bike-centric city. Connected devices, such as smartphones and laptops embedded with locators, have made it more plausible to retrieve lost or stolen items, however, a bike lock does not necessarily equate bike safety.
