Check-in app lets Charlie Hebdo supporters celebrate freedom of expression

As we all know – on January 7th of this year, armed gunmen attacked the offices of French satire newspaper Charlie Hebdo (“Charlie Weekly”), killing seven cartoonists and two police officers, and wounding 11 others.

Any attack on civilians is tragic and disturbing, but as journalists we at PSFK can't help but be particularly struck by terrorism against writers and creatives who were simply doing their jobs. That's why the Je suis Charlie app has our full and undivided attention.
