The Orion Stargazing Companion is a design concept that would feature a transparent screen and precise location technology to let users point at the sky and use simple gestures in order to identify stars and constellations. Designed by Audrey Yrieix from the Institut Superieur de Design, it uses existing technologies to show the potential for a handheld astronomical device that could aid in stargazing.

Orion is designed for beginners and looks similar to a magnifying glass. Its high quality transparent screen, precise location technology and easy-to-use key functions make accurately locating constellations simple and fun.
