Tesco released the wearable app to give grocery-seekers an enhanced experience in their stores

Google Glass users in the UK now have the option to navigate grocery store aisles with high-tech help. Available as of this week, a new app will offer a variety of shopper-eye insights into the products on a major chain’s shelves.

British supermarket chain Tesco recently announced its release of the Tesco Groceries app for Google Glass, which was developed in-house by the Tesco Labs innovation and engineering team. The app currently allows Glass users to use voice commands to search for Tesco products, assemble a virtual shopping cart of items, view nutritional info, and place an order, all with the support of the wearable’s camera function.
