Startup aims to help freelance community advertise their skills in local coffee shops by using their most essential piece of kit

Survey the patrons of any coffee shop with wifi and you’re bound to find a number of freelancers breaking up their workdays with some caffeine and healthy background noise. But since coffee shop conversations have become increasingly rare with people’s faces buried in screens, one startup figured it’d help get conversations flowing and help freelancers land new clients.

Coffee Shop Freelancers is trying to break down communication barriers with the use of laptop decal stickers that tell the world something about the person on the other end of the screen. The decals allow people to broadcast their skill set or focus and make it more inviting for someone to approach them. Founder Christophe Gonzalez explains how he came up with the idea:
