The kits contain a selection of personal care products for the modern traveler

American Airlines has unveiled new amenity kits designed with the modern traveler in mind. Available on most international and transcontinental flights, the limited edition kits pay tribute to the history of the airline's employees as their design honors nine airlines that laid the foundation for the new American.

The retro-themed kits will revive the colors and logos of airlines past and present, with the legacy themes debuting in batches of three every four months. The stylish felt cases were inspired by designer bags and sized so they could be re-used as a mini-tablet computer case.
