The Yelp community in Phoenix created a snack stadium filled with food to be donated on Sunday
Over 60,000 people converged on the University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday to watch the Superbowl. But 20 miles away, in the town of Scottsdale, there is another stadium celebrating the day – the Yelp Snack Stadium, a structure made completely from snacks.
The idea for the stadium began over a year ago when the Phoenix Yelp community director Lindsey Dempsey was looking to find a way to get the local community into the Super Bowl spirit while also giving a helping hand to those less fortunate. Then the idea of a replica stadium built of snacks was born.
