An affordable and reader-friendly smartwatch flies under the techie radar

From the perspective of some proponents, smart watches are the ultimate helper in our world of full-on distraction, offering a way to interact before you pick up your phone. But there are several schools of people interested in smartwatches, all with conflicting interests.

There are the gee-whiz Apple Watch anticipators, but there are also the diehards who have been using fitness wristbands since long before the more sedentary became more interested in watch-like devices. With Apple’s big contribution looming, the Indiegogo-powered Uno Noteband is an interestingly minimalist-looking contribution, hoping to satisfy the needs of both camps by making reading a lot easier for the active and busy.
