The varied toolkit allows users to create, design for and analyze unique 3D bodies

PSFK previously noted the development of Body Labs‘ cutting-edge 3D body modeling software, as well as the U.S. Army's decision to leverage the tech for designing its new body armor. Now, the NYC-based start-up will be sharing the 3D-love with designers everywhere via its brand new APIs (plus all the fixin's).

Today, Body Labs announced its launch of BodyKit, a collection of APIs and embeddable components for helping designers of all things body-based to explore their visions in 3D. The kit, which allows users to “virtualize,” analyze, and simulate any human body type, is aimed to “[power] the creation of better-designed products, recommendations, and experiences in a simple and scale-able way.”
