Hekla Aurora has been fitted with an LED system displaying the stunning northern lights throughout the main cabin

Airline Icelandair has launched an Aurora Borealis-themed plane with an exterior reminiscent of the northern lights and mood lighting throughout the main cabin.

Hekla Aurora (‘Hekla’ is a traditional Icelandic girl’s name and ‘Aurora’ is a reference to the northern lights) was created as part of the airline's #MyStopover campaign, which encourages passengers to enjoy a stopover in Iceland for up to seven nights at no additional airfare on their way between Europe and North America.
