Proxima's interactive and expressive apparel doubles as a love story

Fashion-tech is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, creators are evolving and expanding the capabilities of these garments on a regular basis. This has never been more clear than at MakeFashion’s latest gala. Fashion designers and Radio Frequency Application Lab of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (RADLab) members joined together to unveil a new kind of wearable fashion.

MakeFashion launched in 2012 and has been hosting galas showcasing fashion designs fused with technology since 2013. At their most recent gala, MakeFashion’s spotlight focused on one of their designers: Proxima.
