Ephemeral video app Meerkat, the service that launched on February 27, lets viewers tune into live-streams from around the world at the click of a button. Using the service, anyone can access a broadcast as quickly as they can tap their touchscreen. In just two months, it’s taken over Twitter streams and opened up an entirely new world of touch points between brands and consumers.

To capitalize on the live-stream sensation, smart USA will unveil their new smart fortwo city cars using the app. Typically, such unveilings are dedicated for the press and journalists, now anyone from the general public is granted digital access to experience it for themselves.
